SMALL PARTS LINE:

Our Small Parts Line Isn’t That Small – and Neither are the
Parts it can Handle Most companies use a small part line
to process small parts.  At UltraCoat, our small parts line
can handle 12 inches by 12 inches, but it also can handle
a whole line of parts up to 6 feet by 4 feet in length, each
weighing up to 800 lbs.  From beginning to end, its
unique design was driven by Lean Manufacturing
concepts:It consists of two individual lines – one for
prep and one for painting.It incorporates a large cue/parts
prep area with steam cleaning and blasting capability.
A special design cradle for transfers large parts to the
paint line from the prep side.The line can travel up to
14 ft. per minute with an average speed of 4 ft. per
minute to include:20 minutes of flash time in the primer
booth.30 minutes of forced-dry oven time.20 minutes
of cool down time.20 minutes of flash time in the top
coat booth.Another 30 minutes in the forced dry oven.
A final cool down time and unload area.
